Poblete Tamargo’s Jason Poblete was interviewed today on CNN en Español and discussed recent public policy and political developments in Washington, DC and the United States. USA En Directo, CNN’s Spanish-language Washington, DC-based public affairs program, is broadcast daily at 6:00 p.m. EST.
On Friday, March 22, 2013, at 4:35 PM EST, PT Law’s Jason Poblete will be a guest on “Zona Política con Helen Aguirre,” a public affairs talk show broadcast nationally on the Univision Radio network.
Hosted by award-winning journalist Helen Aguirre, the two-hour program discusses the “news of the day and offers a lively national forum for dialogue and debate.” Zona Política is broadcast daily from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM EST.
Poblete and Aguirre will discuss recent developments in the Congressional ‘Fast and Furious’ investigation. The Los Angeles Times published a story today that details a DHS Inspector General’s report that DHS warnings were ignored about the controversial gun-tracking program.

“In AAD’s March 2012 attack against the town of Aguelhok, the group executed 82 Malian soldiers and kidnapped 30 more. Before the French intervention in January 2013, Malian citizens in towns under AAD’s control who did not comply with AAD’s laws faced harassment, torture, or execution.”
The designation of AAD makes it unlawful for U.S. persons to knowlingly engage in transactions with the AAD or those entities or persons that support them. In addition, any assets that can be linked to AAD are subject to blocking.
