PobleteTamargo Attorney Appointed to the ABA National Security Committee Steering Group

PobleteTamargo partner Jason Poblete was appointed to the Steering Group for the National Security Committee of the ABA Section of International Law (ABA SIL) for the term running from August 10, 2010, to August 9, 2011.

The ABA National Security Committee is concerned with current legal and policy developments nationally and internationally that affect all security interests of the United States, with a particular focus on the rule of law, nonproliferation and disarmament of weapons of mass destruction, threats by non-state actors, intelligence, military doctrine, and international institutions such as the United Nations and NATO. The Committee hosts programs with Members of Congress, current and former administration officials, members of governmental and international agencies, and other experts at regular ABA meetings and other venues, including the United Nations and Capitol Hill.
