Howard Keating Show on SiriusXM America's Talk Interviews Jason Poblete

This Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 5:08 (ET), Poblete Tamargo's Jason Poblete was interviewed on the Howard Keating Show. Poblete discussed how small and medium-sized companies can "Find their Voice in Washington, DC" including whether it made sense to engage the federal government to resolve trade issues. 

Poblete also discussed U.S. export control laws, economic sanctions, as well as the compliance challenges faced by companies that have U.S. government subcontracts with major defense or other high-tech companies that sell to the federal government. "There is a perception that the lower down one goes on the supply chain, the less important compliance with these regulations happens to be. It is quite the opposite," Poblete said. "An export control compliance plan need not break the bank and the costs of not having one, if something were to go wrong, could destroy a company," added Poblete. 

The Keating Network targets the 50 million Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the U.S. Since the financial crisis, many SMEs have closed their doors.
