Congressional Welcome celebrates contributions of FIU’s D.C. family

The Florida International University (FIU) Alumni Association and Poblete Tamargo, LLP, hosted a gathering at the University Club in Washington, DC welcoming the South Florida Congressional delegation to the 112th Congress and honored FIU alumna Ileana Ros-Lehtinen '75, '87 on her appointment as chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs.
