Prior to joining PobleteTamargo, Hollenberg served at the Department of Justice as a Special Assistant at the Foreign Claims Settlement Commission of the United States ("FCSC") where she evaluated U.S. claims against foreign governments. She also assisted with conducting Commission business while maintaining current on DOJ policy and legislation. Prior to the FCSC, Hollenberg served as a Special Assistant in the Sex Offender Sentencing, Monitoring, Apprehending, Registering, and Tracking (SMART) Office, also in the Department of Justice. In that capacity, Hollenberg rendered compliance determinations on state submissions under the Walsh Act and tiered state sex offense statutes. Hollenberg also planned and attended intergovernmental conferences and published the SMART Register Newsletter. Hollenberg reported directly to department leadership and responded to technical assistance inquiries. Hollenberg's private sector experience includes working in the London, England office of Dechert LLP - a 20 office international law firm. As a Dechert corporate paralegal, Hollenberg worked on the Financial Services and Markets Act, researching mutual fund investment companies, as well as other related legal issues. She also registered companies and actuated same day name changes. In addition, she worked on transaction bibles pertaining to various deals. Prior to Dechert and other international work, Hollenberg also did appellate research and legal Auditing of Judicial files for the State Supreme Court of Michigan for Title IV-E compliance.
